These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Kharcha app for Android and iOS and the website kharcha.arsclasses.com (the "Service"), operated by Renew Coder ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. The Service
Kharcha is a digital cash book. It lets you record cash in and cash out entries in books, organise books in businesses, add team members with permissions, set payment reminders, receive email/SMS alerts, view reports and download or back up your data.
2. Eligibility and account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
- Give correct details when you sign up, and keep your mobile number and email up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for all activity in your account.
- Tell us right away at info@renewcoder.com if you think someone else is using your account.
3. Businesses, owners and team members
- The person who creates a business is its owner. The owner decides who joins, as a partner or staff, and what each person can see and do.
- Only add people you trust. Anyone you add can see the books and information you allow.
- Records in a business belong to its owner. If you are removed from a business you lose access to it, and entries you added stay in that business.
4. Your content and responsibilities
- You own the data you enter. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the Service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your entries. Kharcha calculates totals only from what you enter.
- When you add parties (customers, suppliers) and use "remind the party", you confirm you have their permission to store their details and send them payment reminders.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything illegal, including money laundering, fraud or tax evasion;
- send spam or abusive messages through reminders or alerts;
- try to access other users' accounts or data, or break the security of the Service;
- copy, resell, reverse-engineer or overload the Service, or use bots to scrape it.
We may suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.
6. Plans and payments
- A Free plan is available with limits on businesses, books and team members. Paid plans add higher limits and features such as SMS alerts and Google Drive backup.
- Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) on the Subscription page and may change. Changes do not affect a plan you have already paid for.
- Payment is made by UPI to the account shown in the app. After paying, you submit the UTR / transaction ID, and your plan is activated once we verify the payment.
- Plans run for the number of days shown and do not renew automatically. When a plan ends you move to the Free plan. Your data stays, but you may not be able to add more than the Free limits allow.
- Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
7. Notifications
Email and SMS alerts depend on outside networks (mail servers, mobile operators, Fast2SMS). We try to deliver every alert on time, but we cannot guarantee delivery or timing. Don't rely only on Kharcha alerts for critical payments.
8. Backups and availability
We work to keep the Service running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may pause the Service for maintenance. Please download backups regularly from Backup & Restore or connect Google Drive.
9. Not financial or tax advice
Kharcha is a record-keeping tool only. It is not accounting, tax, GST or legal advice, and it is not a bank, wallet or payment service. Consult a qualified professional for such advice.
10. Intellectual property
The Kharcha name, logo, design and software belong to Renew Coder. You may use the Service for your own personal or business record-keeping, but you may not copy or reuse it otherwise.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, the Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, wrong entries, missed or late reminders, or data loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from My Profile → Delete my account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms or the law. Sections 9, 11 and 13 continue to apply after your account ends.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Punjab, India.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and will change the date at the top. For important changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Using the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
